Chloe Giordano does some seriously cool stuff

Chloe Giordano’s European Robin, European Red Squirrel, and what I believe are some oak leaves and chestnuts. Not so up on my Euro plants.

Chloe Giordano is an illustrator and embroiderer from Oxford, England, producing masterfully shaded depictions of common common European animals and plants. Seriously. You’ve got to see her work. Beautiful, beautiful work.

Check out her archive. She’s done a lovely job of documenting how her pieces go together.

I’ve asked her permission to use this photo, but haven’t heard back. I hope it’s okay. If not, I will remove it once I hear from her.

Update: she said it’s okay. Which is quite nice of her.
