Stupid winter. The house is cold. Fingers hurt from all the knitting and embroidery. No critters to watch much, outside the good sized flock of startled Blue Jays from this morning.
However, there is a class being taught at the North Carolina Museum of Natural History entitled Classic Drawing: Skeleton Study to distract from the lack of turtle sightings. Sigh. Reduced to observing deceased turtles.
The class is most excellent. It is taught by Patricia Savage, a local scientific illustrator, and when she offers it next, you should go. Cuz you need to draw turtles. And she will help you draw better turtles. Or at least the interior parts of turtles.
