Is it dead? It might be dead.

Hopefully this was enough to kill off the mother plant.

The poison ivy war nears the end. Maybe. It has been dug up, sprayed and sliced. There is one last stronghold, a remnant sheltering under a fluffy white flowered shrub of unknown origin, along with a warren of japanese honeysuckle, which must also die.

It has fought back, but once casualties were taken as unavoidable, progress was made.

Now the evil plant will be left hanging in the tree until next year, when hopefully the poisons will have broken down enough to not make it foolhardy to try and eliminate it for good.
